For three days, we saw the results of the fires like that depicted in this photo. Yellowstone was nearly destroyed in the 1988 fires. Joy and Al's place in the Bitterroot Mountains was nearly destroyed last year. This is the classic photo taken during that fire. Nature is recovering and all was beautiful.
